Maine is beautiful this time of year

I've been having majorly bizarre dreams while I've been sick. It's like watching a marathon every night.

Another strange dream I had, though not unpleasant. I was invited on a trip to Maine.

I don't remember all the stuff leading up to this trip (I know there was something because I remember when someone I don't know invited me on this trip), so all I remember is being in Maine. Or at least that's where I was supposed to be. Kind of looked like somewhere else in various parts.

When I got there, I was given a room in this hotel that was pretty much built on the ocean. The dock and the hotel were one and I could step out onto the dock from my room and the water was right there.

I kept waiting until it was dark because I really wanted to go for a swim with no one around.

Once it was dark, I'd say about midnight, and no one else was around, I stepped out onto the walkway. I was wearing some sort of long, white sun dress. I started running and jumped into the water.

the tide had gone out, so there wasn't a lot of water. I could actually just walk along the bottom of the ocean and not swim. Suddenly there were dolphins everywhere. I tried to get them to swim with me, but they were frightened and swam away. I walked around in the water for quite a while.

I think the dream changed because I was then walking back to my room and I was in the mountains with snow all around. I was at some ski lodge.

It was night and I went to my room and went to bed. The next morning I got up and when I opened my door, there was freshly fallen snow and everything was beautiful. I actually said, "It's so beautiful!" I went outside and started taking pictures. It was rather sad because none of my photos were living up to what everything really looked like. And my camera refused to cooperate and wasn't working right.

When I woke up, I wondered, "Should I be going to Maine on my vacation?"

I'll be right back...off to England for the afternoon...

So, my other dream was so interesting, it deserved it's own post.

In this dream, I took a trip I've been dying to take for a while now. I've been wanting to take a trip to England and visit my friend Jo.

I remember some of going through the airport and taking the flight over to England.

All I really remember was getting to England and meeting Jo. She took me back to her house and introduced me to the kids she takes care of. Yes, that was plural. In the dream, she took care of 3 kids where in reality it's just one. The oldest must have been 12 or 13. The younger ones were a boy and a girl at 5 and 6 (or there abouts). I met the youngest first and they did nothing but stare at me. I reasoned that it was because of my accent. Then the oldest girl came out and started talking about trying on clothes.

Then it sort of skipped around. I was suddenly deciding what I was going to do about going home. I realized I didn't have a passport and decided a spontaneous trip anywhere wasn't a good idea. Then I began to wonder how I'd gotten to England without a passport.

That was sort of where it ended. I think. Not really sure since my memory of it gets foggy from there.

Where's My Flight?

Not many people know, but I've decided to take a somewhat early vacation this year. A friend of mine invited me to tag along with her family on a trip to Florida. They're going to Disneyworld. I really couldn't turn it down. This will be my first Disney experience and I'm trying not to think about it too much or else I'll start obsessing.

That brings me to the dream I had...

I arrived at the airport for my flight to Florida. Strangely, I was alone. As soon as I got there, I realized I didn't have my ticket and I needed to find a flight schedule to know when my flight was leaving. But I couldn't find one. I looked all over, but everywhere I went I ran into a security checkpoint and I couldn't go through because I didn't have a ticket yet. So I kept circling the terminal until I found a small TV hanging from the ceiling, but the writing was too small to read. I turned around and noticed what I was looking for was at the far end of the terminal. I started walking toward it, but halfway there my alarm went off and I woke up.

Wonder what that meant.
