Last night has to have been the weirdest night for me as far as dreams go.
One dream was about some sort of Twilight event. I was with a group of people who were all going to interview and meet the cast of Twilight. I was on the panel, but there was only one person who was doing the talking. I felt really out of place. I questioned why I was even there. The leader wrote down the questions and points to hit while the rest of us just sat there. Most of it I didn't pay attention to. Then the leader passed out $20 bills to all of us. I wasn't sure why we were being given this money. I thought we had to give it to the cast for their time, but then I thought we were getting paid. The next thing was that I knew I wanted to say hi to Kristen Stewart who played Bella. She was in the movie version of the book Speak and I just loved it. Both movie and book. So I readied myself and stood in line to speak to her. She almost passed right by me without a second glance. I stuck my hand out and she shook it, but didn't look at me. As she was running off, I said, "Loved you in Speak." She stopped and said, "What?" I repeated what I'd said. She just nodded her head and left.
I just stood there thinking how bizarre that was. I said to someone, "That was the worst possible fan encounter." I then started listing all the better experiences I'd had. I listed meeting Chris Isaak as the top. "Chris Isaak concert...way, WAY better!"
Then it morphed into another dream as I was thinking of all the fan encounters I'd had. I claimed I'd met a couple of the actors from MASH. Not true, but suddenly there was the encounter. I ran into either Mike Ferrall or Wayne Rogers at our local hospital. Not sure which now. And he (whoever it was) was so nice and sweet. I asked for a picture and he was very accommodating. I then said how we should get Harry Morgan to join us. I added that he was working there at the hospital and he said, "Well, let's go get him!" We found him and they posed for a picture with me.
And for another wacked out dream...I was at work helping my boss sort out recyclable cans. In Oregon we have a can deposit and we were sorting out the cans that could be taken back to the grocery store for cash and which ones couldn't. We also have a Pepsi machine at our work and all the brands we have in the machine the pepsi guy will take back and give us a refund on our purchases through them. So we were sorting out the cans that go in the big Pepsi bin, the ones that we could take back and the ones that just get regular recycled.
You'd think I did some wild and crazy stuff before bed. I watched some Jon & Kate, read a book and tried to write more of my novel. Oh, and saw Wall-e.

Michael's Invading My Dreams!!!
Yep, you guessed it. I had yet another Michael Johns dream.
This time I was at some get together. It was outside in a park of some kind. I can't decide if it was an American Idol thing or a work thing. The firs thing I remember is seeing Michael from far off and all of a sudden. I immediately had to go find my friend Miranda to tell her. 'Cause I couldn't let something like that go without telling someone!
But first I had to bask in the moment. I don't remember if I just stared at him or even if I talked to him. But I remember watching him talking to other people by a picnic table.
Then I ran to find her and had to wrestle her away from something to get her to come with me. When I showed her, I said, "See." I think at that point we talked to him and I took pictures. I don't remember much except he looked great and he was so sweet.

Wal-Mart with a side of Michael Johns
I had three fairly vivid dreams last night. And strange ones.
The first one wasn't so vivid. Just strange. It started out that I was playing some video game. One of those "reality games" where you manage a supermarket. I had to check people through the check out line, put their groceries in a cart, help them out of the store, bring the cart back and then clean the cart for the next person. Suddenly, I was really working in a store. I believe it was Wal-Mart, but not sure. And it seems I was more than just a floor associate. My manager pulled me aside on my first day and gave me my tasks. The only thing I remember is she said there was no one working one department (I think it was Men's wear) and she told me to push all the carts for that department (go backs and returns) off into the pet department. She gave me a few more things and that was it.
Then after I woke up and was finally able to go back to sleep, I dreamed about Michael Johns again. This time I was actually AT a concert. Except this was a special concert or show. Not one where they all performed, but attended with everyone else. I was sitting in one section where I could sort of see off stage and I could see Michael. The person I was with (no idea who it was) told me Michael was forced to go to this show. "He was bribed," I was told. I looked over at him and he looked so pained like it was torturous for him to be there. Plus, he looked different. He had longer hair. Just slightly shaggy looking. He still looked handsome!
So then the contestants started walking on stage when prompted. The first was a girl I didn't quite recognize. I thought it might be Jennifer Hudson, but I don't think it was. I shook her hand (I was right next to the walkway, so all I had to do was stand and hold out my hand for her to shake) and she was visibly shaking. I congratulated her and she said, "I haven't done anything yet."
After that, Michael came to sit in the back of the audience. This was in my section. It was about 4 rows behind me and a couple of girls behind me started acting all "fanish" whispering and such. Someone next to them told them to not bother him and to not stare. They did which I believe the same person got them to stop. I watched him too, but not trying to be obvious.
Then he was called on stage and he got up and headed down to the stage. This time I wasn't near the stage like before but a few rows back. Now we were sitting in bleachers instead of theater seats. When he passed, he was really nice and shook hands with people. Me and the girl sitting next to me held out our hands and he leaned in to reach us. The person I was with was trying to hold me back a little by holding my arm, but this way I couldn't reach him. I shook them off and leaned in where Michael took my hand. You'd think I'd just won the lottery!
That's about all I remember of that dream, but I did remember the best parts!
Then early this morning right before I woke up, I had another jury duty dream. I was at work all set to have a Friday off. Then I was called to go in for jury duty. I had to go in halfway through Thursday and I knew I'd miss my day off. So I go down there and go through the whole first day back. It looked like there were fewer people than there should have been.
And then when the day was over, I wasn't sure it had actually happened. I questioned whether I should call into the call-in number and make sure I should be there and what time I needed to go. I then woke up.
In reality, I do believe the grand jury only meets on Wednesday and Thursday, so I wouldn't have had to give up my Friday off. Only rarely does it meet for a third day. But, I would probably not have taken that day off if I had had to deal with Jury Duty too. I'd have to do my make up work on that Friday.
Needless to say, Jury Duty still worries me.

He Sings & Moves Furniture!
Last night I had a dream that was so vivid, I was sure it was real. Until I woke up and wanted to cry.
So the dream started out with me at work. I don't remember the very beginning. What I do remember is suddenly walking down the hallway to the front of the building where my desk is. As soon as I got into the lobby, one of my co-workers was standing by the front windows. And I shocked to see who was outside. Michael Johns! He was just standing outside looking in through the windows. As soon as I saw him, I went like psycho! LOL I screamed and jumped around. He was playing the whole thing up acting silly along with me.
Then I guess I went back to work or something. But the funny thing was it seemed to be dark out. And I think the office was closed. As I went back to whatever I was doing, I started to think that little episode hadn't actually happened. That maybe I was dreaming (within a dream) or that I'd imagined it. I didn't know.
I then walked back into the office to where some of my c0-workers were. They were moving furniture in one of our meeting rooms. As I entered the room, I saw them moving chairs around and there was Michael helping! I was overwhelmed with happiness knowing he was actually there. I hadn't imagined it.
Then it flipped or something to back in the lobby. He was standing by my desk and I encountered him for the first time. This part was kind of creepy for me. I approached him and placed both of my hands on his face. Kind of like I couldn't believe he was there unless I touched him. So here I am with my hands on his face - he then places both of his hands over mine and smiles. Like it didn't bother him at all. Like women did this all the time. LOL Who knows? Maybe they do.
So then we got to chatting. I told him how much I had wanted to go to his show. The one in Portland, but I hadn't been able to. He seemed to understand and sympathize. I think he said he was sorry or something.
Apparently, the response from the concerts was so great that they added more shows to the tour. One of the shows being nearby which was why he was in Oregon. He asked if I was going to the show that was coming up. I told him I couldn't get tickets. He then said, "Really? Maybe I can do something about that." So, he got me tickets and backstage passes to the show!
So then we talked more. And it sort of trailed off. Can't remember much more. But it did seem the concert was in Portland, but later he referred to Washington. Then it seemed I got to go to the after party.
But it was so cool and I was really bummed when I woke up :( But it seemed so real. It was even his voice.
I'm not sure why I dreamed this considering I haven't seen Michael or heard about him in a while. Except on my LJ friends list. But the ticket thing happened I believe because other fans were being blessed by David Cook's kindness of getting them tickets and backstage passes. That must have stuck in my mind.

Celebrating the Act of Parenting...
Through pics of celebrity parents. More like celebrity daddies. Not sure why, but it find it all too adorable to see a some macho-seeming guy toting around their son or daughter. Or simply playing with them. Makes me go all "awwww!" I realized recently that I have littered my regular journal with these photos, so I'm going to do it here too. Except all in one post!
